Smithereens

The film stars wannabe musician/artist Wren, who spends most of her time getting into fights with those around her while trying to self-promote herself into the scene (she would have been a natural YouTube or Instagram star). Seidelman has called Wren a "survivor," a girl who yearns for more, but just doesn't have the equipment to get anywhere. Wren is a girl who came of age in the punk scene, only to discover that by the time she got there, it had moved to Los Angeles and try as she might, she can't quite seem to get herself there to join it.
